Welcome to Corner Light Studio.

I'm Joanna Perrone, an oil painter based in Northwest England, where I live with my husband and our 2 children.

Art and creativity have always been part of my life. Over the years I've explored different mediums including acrylics, watercolour and pastels before eventually finding my home in oil painting.

My artwork is inspired by the feeling of quiet within a busy world. Through colourful European streets, glowing windows and atmospheric corners, I try to capture a sense of calm, warmth and gentle nostalgia.

I'm drawn to evening light, reflections and hidden places that invite you to pause for a moment. My hope is that each painting brings a feeling of comfort, colour and peaceful escape into your home.

Corner Light Studio explores light, colour and objects. 
Work is produced in small runs and one-off pieces from the studio corner.

The studio focuses on simple forms, light and quiet compositions.
